TWAN - The World at Night

The night sky has been an inspiration for artists and poets throughout history. It has shaped our believes and even inspired our philosophy.

While modern astronomy continues to explore the universe with 21st century giant telescopes, millions of people today are also enjoying stargazing and amateur astronomy across the world, diving into its fascination as mystery.

Miguel Claro - Astronomia e PoesiaThe borderless night sky became a connecting bridge between cultures where political and religious borders break. This exhibition illustrates the night sky both within the Science of Astronomy and beyond, where it becomes a part of our nature, an essential element of our life and culture.

This exhibition is organized in collaboration with the ‘The World at Night’ (TWAN) international program, a team of the world's best nightscape photographers with a new approach to popularize astronomy worldwide with one universal message: that the eternally peaceful sky looks the same above all the symbols of different nations and regions. Under this roof we are all one family: One People, One Sky.
